PSEB 10th & 12th exams: Minimum passing criteria
To pass the PSEB Class 10 and 12 board examinations, students must obtain a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as an overall aggregate of 33% across all subjects. In addition, for subjects that include practicals or internal assessments, candidates are required to secure the qualifying marks in those components as well. Those who do not meet the minimum criteria in one or more subjects will be eligible to appear for compartment exams, with detailed guidelines and dates to be announced separately by the Punjab School Education Board.
Provisional vs original marksheets
The marksheet available online post-declaration will be considered provisional. The original marksheets and certificates will be issued by respective schools a few days after the online results are declared. Students are advised to verify all details for accuracy, including name spellings and subject-wise scores.
PSEB Class 10th and 12th result: What’s next?
After the PSEB results are declared, Class 10 students will proceed with admissions to Class 11, choosing from streams like Science, Commerce, Arts, or Vocational Education based on their preferences and performance. Class 12 students, on the other hand, will move forward with college admissions, entrance exams, and applications for undergraduate and professional courses.
