The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is set to close the objection window for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 answer key today, April 22, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam and wish to challenge the provisional answer keys for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology must submit their objections through the official KEA website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The KCET 2025 was held on April 16 and 17 for admissions into engineering, pharmacy, architecture, and other undergraduate professional courses. The answer key objection process is a crucial step, as the final merit list will be based on the revised answer key approved by an expert committee.
KCET 2025: Steps to challenge answer key
Candidates who have identified discrepancies in the provisional answer keys must follow the steps as given here to raise their objections:
Step 1. Visit the official KEA website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Step 2. Click on the link for raising objections to the UGCET 2025 answer key on the homepage.
Step 3. Select the relevant subject answer key: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology.
Step 4. To raise objections, click on the objection link available under the latest notifications.
Step 5. Enter your CET application number and date of birth to log in.
Step 6. Indicate the subject, version code, and question number while submitting the grievance.
Step 7. Upload supporting documents in PDF format to validate your objection.
Step 8. Submit the form and keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

KCET 2025: Evaluation process and final answer key
All objections submitted by candidates will be reviewed by an expert committee. As per the KEA bulletin, “The objections received will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final for determination of the correct answer.” The final answer key will be released following this review process, and it will form the basis of the evaluation for determining candidate merit ranks.
Candidates are advised to ensure the accuracy and relevance of their supporting documents, as vague or unsupported claims may be rejected. Once the final key is published, no further objections will be accepted by the Authority.
