Parth, a student of Narayana CO Techno School, Mumbai, had anticipated a strong performance, but the scale of his success still caught him by surprise. “I was expecting a good result, but not such a high rank. It feels surreal,” he said with quiet pride, moments after the result was published online.What makes his feat even more extraordinary is his perfect score in mathematics – 120 out of 120—a subject he has long considered his personal favourite. “Maths is something I truly enjoy. I’m planning to pursue computer science at IIT-Bombay, but I might return to mathematics later through research,” he shared thoughtfully.
The road to AIR-4 in JEE Advanced 2025: A fine act of balance between studies and passion
The journey to a top JEE rank is never easy. For Parth, it meant two years of unwavering focus and the willingness to set aside several personal interests. Yet, he never completely disconnected from what kept him grounded. A trained tabla player, Parth made time, however limited, to stay connected to his musical roots. “Playing the tabla helped me relieve stress. It was my way of staying balanced,” he said.When not immersed in books or problem sets, he found joy in reading fiction and playing table tennis, small pockets of calm that helped him recharge before diving back into studies.
Parth: Academic all-rounder with 98% in Class 12 boards
Parth’s JEE performance is no one-off achievement. He also scored a stellar 98% in his Class XII board examinations, reflecting a consistent academic discipline that blends intelligence with hard work.
Supportive family, steadfast aspirations
With a mother who is an Ayurveda doctor and a father who is an engineer, Parth grew up in an environment where education and curiosity were naturally nurtured. While he humbly credits his teachers and parents for their guidance, it is evident that the quiet determination is all his own.
Onward to IIT-Bombay—and beyond
Now with a place at IIT-Bombay in sight, Parth is preparing for a new chapter in his academic journey. For many young students eyeing a future in engineering, his story is more than just a rank, it’s a reminder that excellence is not just about hours of study, but also about balance, persistence, and staying true to one’s passions.
