UP Board Class 10th Toppers 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the Class 10th results for 2025, with an overall pass percentage of 90.1%. The results have brought smiles to the faces of students, especially those from smaller towns in the state, who have proven their mettle by bagging top positions in both the High School and Intermediate exams. The announcement took place on April 25, 2025, at the UPMSP headquarters in Prayagraj.
Top scorers from smaller towns
In the Class 10 exam, students from towns like Jalaun, Etawah, Barabanki, Moradabad, Sitapur, Amroha, and Gazipur have made their districts proud with exceptional performances. Yash Pratap Singh from LT Smt RKDIC, Umari, Jalaun topped the state with an impressive 97.83% score, securing the first position. His achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of students from smaller towns.
The second position in the Class 10 exam was shared by two students, Anshi from Shivaji SNIC Katra S Khan, Etawah, and Abhishek Kumar Yadav from Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Barabanki. Both scored 97.67%. This result underscores the growing academic excellence in towns outside of major cities.
The third position was secured by three meritorious students: Ritu Garg of Moradabad, Arpit Verma of Sitapur, and Simran Gupta of Jalaun, who each scored 97.50%. Their achievements reflect the emerging educational powerhouses of smaller districts in Uttar Pradesh.

The fourth spot was a closely contested one, with six students sharing the position. These students are Anchal Verma of Sitapur, Akriti Patel of Hardoi, Aastha Patel of Unnao, Anshi Kashyap of Etawah, Asna Fatima Zaidi of Barabanki, and Shreya Singh of Prayagraj, all with an impressive score of 97.33%. Shreya Singh, a local girl from SP International College, Sikaro Koraon, also made her district proud by being among the top performers.
The outstanding performances of these students, particularly from smaller towns, highlight the increasing opportunities and academic focus in regions outside of the state’s major urban centres.
