McCain retorted that union pensions rely on the stock market and a majority of Americans rely on publicly traded companies. “61% of US adults own stocks, including 51% of those earning between $30K and $75K, and a quarter of those earning less than $30K. Not to mention 401ks. This impacts everyone,” Meghan McCain said.
Many dug out her past posts and reminded her that this was what she voted for.
The trade war that Donald Trump unleashed on Liberation Day (April 2) escalated as Trump threatened China with a new 50 per cent tariff as China is not budging on the tariff war. China announced a 34 per cent tariff to counter US’s 34 per cent tariff, contributing to the global economic meltdown. Adding more to it, Trump Monday announced that he’s ready to impose more tariffs on China.
