The Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2025 has revealed varying pass percentages across streams. In the Science stream, 2,80,933 students appeared for the examination, and 2,31,461 passed, recording the highest success rate at 82.45%.
In the Commerce stream, out of 2,04,329 students, 1,55,425 qualified, resulting in a pass percentage of 76.07%.
Meanwhile, the Arts stream saw 1,53,043 candidates appear for the exam, with 81,553 clearing it — leading to a pass rate of 53.29%, the lowest among the three.
Across all streams, a total of 6,37,805 students appeared this year, with 4,68,439 passing the exams, bringing the overall pass percentage to 73.45%.
Karnataka 2nd PUC result 2025: Passing criteria
To clear the examination, students must secure a minimum of 35% in each subject overall. This includes at least 25 marks in theory and 11 marks in the practical component.
In the 2024 academic year, the overall pass rate stood at 81.15%. Among the streams, Science recorded the highest success rate at 89.96%, followed by Commerce with 80.94%. The Arts stream had a pass percentage of 68.36%.
