The recruitment notification was published on January 27, 2024, with the Preliminary examination held on March 17, 2024. A total of 7,011 candidates had qualified for the Mains examination.The prolonged delay in releasing the Mains result had prompted widespread agitation by candidates, including a hunger strike outside the JPSC headquarters in Ranchi. The protest was withdrawn only after officials assured a timely result declaration.Following the announcement of the written exam results, the commission stated that the interview schedule will be announced shortly.
