The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the Class 10th result 2025, today, May 15, 2025. Over 95,000 students had appeared in the exam conducted in March. Students can navigate to the official website, hpbose.org, from where students can access marksheets by entering their roll numbers.This year’s performance has shown a notable improvement in the pass rate, climbing to 79.8%—a notable 5.19% rise compared to the 74.61% recorded in 2024. Out of 95,495 examinees, 75,862 have successfully passed, while 5,563 students will need to appear for supplementary exams. Girls have demonstrated excellence by securing a pass rate of 82.08%, outperforming boys, who have attained 77.64%. Not only in pass percentages, but females have showcased exemplary performance by grabbing most of the top achievers’ posts. Saina Thakur from Kangra district has secured the first position in the state with a remarkable score of 696 out of 700, translating to a percentage of 99.43%. She is followed by Ridima Sharma with 99.29%, while Mudita Sharma and Parnika Sharma share the third rank at 99.14%.

The HPBOSE Class 10th Result 2025 highlights a consistent trend of female students outperforming their male counterparts across all categories. Overall, girls achieved a higher pass percentage of 82.08% compared to 77.6% for boys. This gap is evident within each social category as well.Among the general category students, 83.60% of girls passed, surpassing the 79.97% pass rate of boys. Scheduled Caste (SC) girls recorded a 78.07% success rate, notably higher than SC boys at 70.76%. In the Scheduled Tribe (ST) group, girls outshone boys with 80.25% versus 75.28%. Even in the OBC category, female students led with an impressive 86.31% pass percentage, while boys stood at 80.93%.

The toppers’ list is overwhelmingly dominated by female candidates, with 15 out of the 17 students securing positions in the top five ranks being girls. Remarkably, only two male students have made it to the top tier this year.
