‘Adani co redirected QIP funds for smart meters to transmission’

[ad_1] MUMBAI: Credit rating firm CARE has issued a monitoring agency report on Adani Transmission’s Rs 8,873 crore raised via the QIP route in Aug 2024. According to the report, the company, now known as Adani Energy Solutions, deviated from the qualified institutional placement’s stated objectives.It diverted funds earmarked forsmart meters to transmission systems — up to 10% of the money designated for installation of meters was redirected to transmission capex requirements.Though this deviation (up to 10%) is within the materiality threshold, it still requires formal disclosure and audit committee review, said a lawyer. Any deviation beyond 10% from the stated objects in the offer document may be considered material and might require shareholder approval, he added. Nestle India Q4 profit drops 6.5% to Rs 873 crore, sales up 3.7% to Rs 5,448 crore

Revenue from the sale of products was up at Rs 5,447.64 crore in the quarter as against Rs 5,254.43 crore a year ago. "Total sales and domestic sales for the quarter increased 3.7 per cent and 4.2 per cent, respectively. Domestic sales growth was broad-based. Pune company loses Rs 6.5 crore in cyber fraud

[ad_1] PUNE: Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) cyber frauds cheated a Pune-based firm, dealing in IT services and imports of dry fruits, out of Rs 6.5 crore on March 27.MitM is a type of cyber fraud in which an attacker intercepts and relays communication between two parties, making it appear as if they are communicating directly. As per the police complaint, the 39-year-old company director received an email on the company ID purportedly from a US firm he did business with about a payment request. He initiated the transaction believing the email request was legitimate. But later, when he contacted officials of the other firm, they denied receiving the amount. Tech Mahindra announces Rs 45 per share dividend as FY25 profit soars 80%
