The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has issued important exam-day instructions for candidates appearing in the BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Mains 2025. According to the latest notification, the use of simple calculators will be permitted during the General Studies Paper I on April 28, while scientific calculators will be allowed for candidates appearing for the Mathematics and Statistics paper on April 30. However, candidates must note that the use of calculators will not be permitted during the optional subject paper scheduled for the first shift on April 29.
In addition to this, BPSC has released the admit cards for the CCE Mains examination. Candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

BPSC 70th CCE Mains 2025: Mandatory instructions
According to the commission’s notice, certain candidates have submitted applications with unclear or missing photographs and signatures. Such candidates are required to submit a supporting identification document to the examination centre superintendent on April 25, 2025.
To facilitate this, a declaration form has been made available on the official website. Affected candidates must:
- Download and fill the declaration form from the BPSC website.
- Affix a recent coloured passport-sized photograph, attested by a gazetted officer, in the designated space.
- Sign in both Hindi and English in the specified areas of the form.
Candidates are also required to paste one attested coloured photograph beside the photo space on their admit card. Another copy of the photograph should be affixed in the presence of the centre superintendent on the day of the exam.

Candidates must carry both the BPSC 70th CCE Mains admit card and a valid ID proof to the exam centre. Entry will only be granted after successful verification of documents by the exam authorities.
The BPSC 70th Combined Competitive Mains Examination 2025 is being conducted to fill a total of 2,035 vacancies in various state government departments. The examination is scheduled across five days — April 25, 26, 28, 29, and 30, 2025.
