BITSAT 2025: The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has opened the application correction window for the BITS Admission Test (BITSAT) 2025 on April 29, 2025. Candidates who have already registered for the exam can now edit their application forms online through the official admission website — www.bitsadmission.com — by logging in using their application number and password.
As per the official schedule, the application correction window will remain open until May 1, 2025. During this period, candidates can update all fields in their application form except for name, gender, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number. After the correction deadline, no further changes will be allowed under any circumstances.
Exam to be held in two sessions
BITSAT 2025 will be conducted in two separate sessions. The first session is scheduled to be held from May 26 to May 30, 2025. The second session will take place from June 22 to June 26, 2025. Candidates can appear in either one or both sessions, and if they choose both, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.
Slot booking for session 1 will be available from May 13 to May 16, 2025. During this period, candidates will be able to select their preferred exam centre, date, and time slot. The admit cards for session 1 will be issued on May 23, 2025.
BITSAT 2025 paper pattern and marking scheme
The BITSAT 2025 examination will be conducted in an online mode for a duration of three hours. The paper will consist of 130 multiple-choice questions divided across four sections — Physics (30 questions), Chemistry (30 questions), English Proficiency (10 questions), Logical Reasoning (20 questions), and Mathematics (40 questions).
The marking scheme awards three marks for each correct response and deducts one mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates should note that there is no negative marking for unattempted questions.

Important instructions and application details
The BITSAT 2025 application process is entirely online. Only one application form is to be submitted by each candidate, and duplicate applications will be rejected. All entries should be reviewed carefully before submission. The application fee for Indian and Nepalese candidates is INR 3,500 for males and INR 3,000 for females and transgender applicants if applying for only session 1. For both sessions, the fee is INR 5,500 for males and INR 4,500 for females and transgender candidates. Candidates from Dubai will be charged INR 7,150 for session 1 and INR 9,150 for both sessions.
Photographs and signatures must be uploaded in JPG or JPEG format, with file sizes between 50 KB and 100 KB for the photograph and 10 KB to 100 KB for the signature. All candidates are advised to log out and close the browser after completing their application to ensure the security of their personal information.
