UPSC NDA result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (II), 2024. A total of 792 candidates have qualified, marking a significant achievement for aspiring officers of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. These candidates were selected based on the results of the written examination held on September 1, 2024, followed by the Services Selection Board (SSB) interviews conducted by the Ministry of Defence.
Imon Ghosh has emerged as the top scorer in the prestigious examination, securing the first position in the merit list. This result paves the way for these successful candidates to join the 154th Course at the National Defence Academy and the 116th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC), beginning soon.

The final list of successful candidates was prepared based on the written examination and subsequent interviews, with medical examination results not being factored into the merit list. The written test was conducted on September 1, 2024, by the UPSC, followed by the SSB interviews, which assess candidates on various attributes required for a career in the Indian Armed Forces.
The selected candidates will undergo rigorous training at the NDA for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings. Imon Ghosh, who has topped the exam, will soon begin his journey to serve the nation. Candidature provisional, marks to be released soon
It is important to note that the candidature of all selected candidates is provisional. They must submit requisite certificates for date of birth, educational qualifications, and other necessary documents to the Additional Directorate General of Recruiting, Ministry of Defence, to confirm their eligibility. Additionally, any changes to the candidate’s address must be promptly reported to the Army Headquarters.

With this year’s results, a new batch of dedicated and capable individuals will join the ranks of India’s defence services, ready to contribute to the country’s security and sovereignty.
