India’s gaming sector has grown explosively in the last decade, from casual mobile titles to real-money fantasy leagues. But the line between skill-based gaming, betting, and addiction has long been blurred. Enter the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, a landmark law that seeks to clean up, regulate, and reshape the industry. What the Act says Bans real-money betting & gambling apps that promote wagering. Encourages e-sports as a recognized category, with tax breaks and infrastructure support. What AI can’t replace: Building 8 human skills that will still matter a decade later
[ad_1] As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries and redefine job roles, there is growing concern among students and early-career professionals about their place in the workforce of the future. With generative AI writing code, drafting reports, analyzing data, and even performing creative tasks, it is easy to question what skills will remain uniquely human—and therefore, professionally valuable. Yet, despite its speed and scale, AI remains limited in fundamental ways. It lacks empathy, ethics, cultural context, and the nuanced reasoning that underpins human judgment. The future of work will not be a contest between humans and machines, but a reorientation of roles—where technology handles the repetitive and the mechanical, and humans focus on the complex, interpersonal, and moral dimensions of work. The following eight skills are expected to retain their relevance well into the next decade. For students and professionals alike, […]

Victoria Monét’s New Album Is a Beautiful Reminder to Tune Into Love’s Frequency
If you haven't heard yet, Victoria Monét just gave the world a 22-track gift called Frequency of Love, and honestly, the timing feels like more than coincidence. The three-time GRAMMY winner dropped the album this week through Lovett Music/RCA, stacked with features from SZA, Bruno Mars, Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Lucky Daye, Chlöe, and even her own daughter, Hazel Monét. It's the kind of release that reminds you why music still matters: it's not just something you stream in the background, it's something that can shift the way you walk through your day. There's something to that title that's worth sitting with for a second. Frequency of Love. Not "the idea of love" or "a love song" — a frequency. Something you tune into, on purpose, like turning a dial until the static clears and the signal comes through. That's […]
Why October Feels Like a Second New Year (And How to Actually Use It)
Have you noticed everyone suddenly talking about fresh starts again — in October? If your feed has been full of people making new goal lists, cleaning out their closets, and swearing off their summer bad habits this week, you've met the "October theory," and it's having a real moment on TikTok right now. Here's the idea in a nutshell: October 1st works like a second New Year's Day. We spend January 1st loaded down with resolutions, most of which quietly dissolve by February. But October hits differently. The air changes, the light gets softer, and something in us just wants to shed what isn't working — like the trees do. Psychotherapist Brianna Paruolo, who's been quoted on the trend, put it beautifully: autumn "often sparks a natural inclination for transformation," the same way trees let go of their leaves without […]
