TS SSC supplementary exams 2025: The Telangana Board of Secondary Education has officially declared the SSC Public Examinations 2025 results. A total of 5,09,564 students had registered for the exams conducted between March 21 and April 3, 2025. Out of these, 5,07,107 candidates appeared—comprising 4,96,374 regular and 10,733 private students.
This year, the overall pass percentage for regular candidates stands at 92.78%. Girls outshined boys once again, with 94.26% of them passing compared to 91.32% of boys, a difference of 2.94 percentage points. Among private candidates, the pass percentage was 57.22%, with girls performing better at 61.70% compared to 55.14% for boys. District-wise, Mahabubabad stood first with a pass percentage of 99.29%, while Vikarabad recorded the lowest at 73.97%. In terms of school performance, 4,629 schools achieved a 100% pass rate, while just 2 private institutions registered a 0% pass rate.
Supplementary examination schedule released
To provide an opportunity for students who did not clear one or more subjects, the board has announced the schedule for the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, June-2025. These exams will be held from June 3 to June 13, 2025, in the morning session from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Given the short window before the examinations, candidates are encouraged to pay the examination fee promptly, without waiting for recounting or re-verification results.

Provision for recounting and re-verification of marks
Students unsatisfied with their marks may apply for recounting or re-verification. Recounting requires a payment of Rs. 500 per subject, and applications must be submitted within 15 days from the date of result declaration, i.e., by May 15, 2025. Applications must be sent directly to the Office of the Director of Government Examinations, Telangana, Hyderabad.

For re-verification along with photocopies of the answer sheets, students must apply through their school Headmaster. The re-verification fee is Rs. 1,000 per subject, paid through a Cyber Treasury challan under the specified government account. The application must include the hall ticket, a copy of the computerised marks memo, and must be uploaded online by the Headmaster and submitted to the District Educational Officer. Applications by post will not be entertained.

Re-verification includes checking for unmarked answers, re-totalling, and ensuring that marks have been posted correctly. It does not, however, consider claims of undervaluation. Candidates applying for re-verification need not apply for recounting.
Revised evaluation system and grade reporting
From the academic year 2024–25, internal assessments have been dispensed with. Students are evaluated solely through external examinations. To pass, a student must secure at least 35 out of 100 marks in each subject, except in the Second Language, where the minimum is 20. Additionally, a student must score at least 28 out of 80 in the external paper (16 for the Second Language).
The SSC Pass Certificate now includes subject-wise marks, grades, and co-curricular performance. Grades are awarded alongside marks to give a complete view of the student’s academic standing.
No ranking policy remains in place
The government continues to uphold its no-ranking policy, in force since 1997–98, warning that any institution announcing ranks may face withdrawal of recognition. The board has urged schools and managements to refrain from promoting student ranks through any platform.
