A retired police constable filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Chunabhatti Police Station in Mumbai, alleging that his son, Siddhesh Ratne, was driven to suicide due to mental harassment and infidelity by his wife, Manasi Ratne, and her alleged accomplices. Siddhesh Ratne ended his life by hanging himself on April 18, 2025, at the family’s government-allotted residence near Swadeshi Mills in Chunabhatti.
