This in turn also pushed the price of the yellow metal in the domestic market a step closer to the psychologically important Rs 1 lakh/10-gram mark, to Rs 96,000 by Friday evening, a new all-time peak. The recent surge in the yellow metal in the global and local markets came on the back of a sharp drop after the US president Donald Trump escalated the tariff war with most of the country's trading partners, raising chances of a recession in the US. In the domestic market gold prices had fallen to Rs 88,200 on Tuesday while in the international market it had dipped below the $3,000 mark.In Friday's mid-session on Comex in the US, gold prices […]

[ad_1] (left to right): Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of recruiting over 150 Chinese nationals to fight in Ukraine — and says Beijing knows about it. The revelation came after Ukrainian forces captured two Chinese fighters in eastern Ukraine, posting videos of them and their passports.“The United States of America should pay attention,” Zelenskyy said. “There are 155 Chinese citizens who are fighting against Ukrainians on the territory of Ukraine.”Why it mattersIt’s the first time China has been publicly linked to boots on the ground in Russia’s war in Ukraine.
